Founder & Background

Zorya Technologies is founder-led. The founder holds a PhD in Astrophysics from Churchill College, University of Cambridge, with expertise in mathematical modelling and high-performance computing. While at university, he also passed the P Company selection course for the British Parachute Regiment.

His career spans advanced technology consultancy (including laser and applied physics systems), investment banking, quantitative trading, and risk analysis. He also held senior roles in both technology and risk management within a major UK banking group before founding a UK-based technology consultancy whose work was referenced by a U.S. Department of Defense research site in the context of advanced technology.

He spent approximately a decade working at an Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund, primarily contributing to quantitative analysis and risk management. He also serves on the advisory board of SilverDome, a Swedish-based investment fund.

Now primarily based in Ukraine, he continues to develop advanced AI systems, including a cloud-based AI trading platform, and is writing a book on quantitative investment and trading.
